Alpha 5 served the Rangers faithfully through Mighty Morphin, Zeo, and the beginning of Turbo. In the Power Rangers Turbo season, he left Earth to accompany Zordon back to his home planet of Eltar. He was subsequently replaced in the Command Center by his successor, Alpha 6.

According to canon lore established in the BOOM! Studios Comic Book Continuity, Alpha 5 chose to stay by Zordon’s side when Eltar was brutally ambushed by the United Alliance of Evil, resulting in his ultimate capture or destruction.
