In Microsoft OneNote, you can only password-protect individual notebook sections, which automatically locks all pages within that specific section. You cannot lock an entire notebook or a single page all at once. How to Lock a Section (Windows & Mac Desktop) Right-click the specific section tab you want to lock. Select Password Protect This Section from the context menu.
Click Set Password in the task pane that opens on the right side of your screen.
Type your desired password, retype it to confirm, and click OK. How to Lock a Section (Mobile Devices & iPad) Press and hold the section name you want to secure.
Tap the three dots (More Options) icon in the upper-right corner.
Select Protect Section (or Protect Partition) and enter your password.
