You can hide likes and share counts on Threads globally or per post to reduce public pressure and block out distracting engagement metrics. Because Threads is built on Meta’s ecosystem, managing your privacy settings directly affects both your Threads Content Preferences and your Instagram feed. Hide Likes on Others’ Posts (Global Setting) To stop seeing metric counts across your entire feed: Open your Threads profile. Tap the Menu icon (two lines) in the top corner. Select Content preferences. Tap Hide like and share counts. Toggle the feature On.

Note: This hides the total numbers for likes, views, reposts, and quotes across all other profiles you browse. This setting syncs globally with your connected Instagram account. Hide Likes on Your Own Posts (Individual Basis)

To remove the pressure of public engagement metrics from your own updates: Navigate to your specific Threads post. Tap the three-dot icon (Options menu) next to the post. Select Hide like and share counts. Reclaim and Clean Up Your Feed
